Terms of Service

These terms apply to the MergeDoc add-on for Google Sheets and the website getmergedoc.com (together, “MergeDoc”). MergeDoc is operated by an independent developer based in Vietnam (“we”). By installing or using MergeDoc you agree to these terms.
The service
MergeDoc creates Google Docs and PDF files from rows of your spreadsheet using a template you provide. It runs inside your Google account and is subject to Google’s own limits and availability, which we do not control.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content of your sheets, templates and generated files, and for having the right to use any personal data in them.
- Do not use MergeDoc for unlawful content, spam, or to infringe others’ rights.
- Check generated documents before you send or rely on them.
Plans and payment
- Free: up to 50 files per calendar month.
- Pro: $5 per month or $39 per year, billed in advance through Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record, which handles payment, taxes and invoices.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the link in your Polar receipt; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds: if MergeDoc does not work for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it. Refunds are processed by Polar.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next renewal.
Availability and changes
We work to keep MergeDoc running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue Pro, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
MergeDoc is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data or profits, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using MergeDoc at any time by removing the add-on. We may suspend use that breaks these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
